That’s why we created the EWGA Wine Academy: a flexible, online training platform designed to give hospitality teams practical wine knowledge they can use every day. Whether it’s understanding grape varieties, improving food pairing recommendations or feeling more confident when talking to customers, our courses are built around real-world hospitality.
More than 500 hospitality professionals have already completed courses through the EWGA Wine Academy, using it to build confidence, strengthen their wine knowledge, enhance the guest experience and drive wine sales.

LEVEL 1: Wine Basics
– Perfect for beginners or anyone in need of a refresher
– Covers the fundamentals of wine in a quick, engaging format
– Only takes a couple of hours to complete
– Includes a video of 6 introductory topics, with quizzes after each session and a test at the end
– A certificate of achievement upon completion
LEVEL 2: From Grape to Glass
– A comprehensive course that dives deeper into wine production, grape varieties, wine styles, service, and more
– Features 18 modules with over 5 hours of video content
– Ideal for team members ready to take their wine knowledge to the next level
