Rioja Consejo opens Wine-Educator Course

The D.O.C.a Rioja Control Board has launched a course giving members of the trade the change to gain an official certification in Rioja, with the aim of creating a global network of trainers.
the Rioja Wine Educator Programme is open to those with at least two year's professional experience in the world of wine in at least one of the followiing area: communication, education, on-rade, wine retail sales and wine distribution. The Control Board will select candidates based on their CV, with those accepted expected to complete an online course, a written paper and further training during a stay in Rioja.
