Hyning Home Farm offers wine storage facilities for private individuals who either do not have the facility to store wine at home or who may want to buy wine Duty Suspended and either sell the wine on in the future or pay the duty at a later date. Owned by EWGA Ltd who have over 30 years experience in the import and selling of wine, this warehouse is the only facility of its type in the area and provides the opportunity for storing wines under one roof and in perfect conditions.
The wines are kept in a high security, temperature controlled environment.. Experienced cellar staff take the utmost care of any handling that is necessary. All customers are treated confidentially with stock being independently accounted for and held in a client reserve account. Wines can be inspected by appointment during office hours.
DUTY PAID OR DUTY SUSPENDED
The development can offer both duty paid or bonded storage. Stock transferred into the bond must have a current valuation certificate. The stock is kept separately and is clearly identified with both the name and a unique reference number issued to the customer on placing stock in the warehouse. Individual stock certificates are supplied annually.
REMOVAL OF WINE
Wines will only be removed from the customer reserves on written instruction of the owner. Wines will delivered free of charge locally and charged at cost nationally. Duty Suspended stock will have the duty and VAT charged at this stage and this must be paid prior to delivery.
VALUATION AND BROKERING SERVICES
Free advice and valuation of stock can be provided annually. We can also arrange to sell wines for customers directly to the market or on a commission basis.
Rates are charged for the year ahead and are currently :
£ 15.00 storage per case (1-12 bottles) per year (excludes VAT and insurance, zero VAT if under bond)
100 Cases plus £ 10.00
Insurance 0.9% of value charged annually
Insured value updated on 01 August annually
