Fleur de Lune
Quite Simply French, Lancaster
An elegant, textured summer cocktail inspired by the twilight gardens of southern France.
Crafted with a dry white wine base—Sancerre, known for its crisp minerality and subtle citrus blossom notes
—this cocktail balances wild strawberry liqueur, a delicate white balsamic vinegar and strawberry reduction, a whisper of Génépi herbal liqueur & Rivesaltes Ambré Hors dÂ’ge from Château Lauriga—a fortified wine aged in oak, offering warm notes of dried apricot, caramelised fig, and toasted almond.
The Sancerre brings brightness, structure, and a clean, dry backbone that enhances the aromatics and elevates the foam.
Finished with a sprinkle of crushed pink peppercorn.
“This is summer elegance in a glass—where wine meets whimsy.”
Summer Sipping
Derwent Walker, Keswick
Made by Owain Reed.
-125ml alpino pinto grigio
-10ml lemon juice
-15ml homemade sour orange syrup
-30ml reduced muddy boots Chardonnay and lemon zest syrup
-garnished with a charred la bonita Malbec infused orange slice.
This cocktail hits all the right notes. From the fresh crispness of orchard fruits from the pinot grigio, to then contrast that with the sourness of the orange syrup, and the acidity of the Chardonnay. Rounded off by the a smoked fruitiness of the orange wedge.

Limoncello Spritz & 'Sangria'
The Grand Hotel, Lytham St Annes
Now this is one you need to see to believe. The team over at The Grand Hotel went all in — not just with a cocktail, but with a full-on video production.
They whipped up a Limoncello Spritz (looking very refreshing, we must say)… and then came their take on Sangria — and let’s just say it was bold, creative, and questionable in the best possible way. 😂
Even better? They got other staff members to taste-test both drinks on camera. Reactions were… mixed. But absolutely entertaining!
You be the judge — give their entry a watch, we promise it’s worth it.

Created with Bombay Bramble Gin, a splash of Monin Vanilla Syrup, and finished with our Cantina del Garda Extra Dry Prosecco, it’s got flavour and flair.
