EWGA Wines is made up of an enthusiastic team of people who work hard to make sure the wines we sell are great quality, well presented, and in the right place at the right time. Many of the team have been with the business for over 10 years, whilst a passion for wine isn’t a requirement of the job, most of the team have it. Regular meetings, team weekends away, and product tastings help keep everyone connected and make sure we enjoy what we do – so we can give our customers the best possible service.

Adrian took over the business from his parents in the 1990’s. His drive and enthusiasm for wine and business have meant that the company has gone from being a regional wine company to a national wine wholesaler and importer.
Managing the business for over 30 years, he works hard to maintain an exciting and uncompromising range of wines from around the world. He loves Burgundy and other French regions but he ensures there are plenty of other wine regions represented alongside the classics.
Janette joined the business in the year 2000 as the first full-time sales person employed by the company. She brought her hospitality experience and management degree to start the building of our wonderful sales team.
In addition to being “work mum” to everyone at EWGA, she has her own customers, and she oversees the rest of the sales team around the country. Her constant enthusiasm and innovation ensure that the business continues to grow and prosper.




Our sales team is made up of knowledgeable account managers who work with you to create a bespoke wine selection that suits your business. Everyone on the team stays up to date with the latest trends, helping you keep your offering fresh, relevant, and popular with your customers.


Cumbrian born and bred, He’s never happier than when he’s out in the fresh air with his wife, two children and his Labrador, Peggy. His other great love in life is wine, with Chardonnay being his favourite grape variety. French is best, of course – but you don’t have to drink expensive wine to enjoy it!


Peter has over 30 years of experience in the wine industry and over 15 years with EWGA Wines. His introduction to the industry started with 2 years of studies at the Lycee d’Enseignement Professional de Montreuil Bellay, France, studying Viticulture and Oenology. Peter is responsible for selling the agency portfolio to the trade in the South of England.

With over 25 years in the wine trade, Gary has worked across retail, on-trade, and global exports, developing markets across Europe and North America. His passion for wine began with WSET Higher Certificate with Distinction, leading to years of building strong trade relationships. After a career spent travelling the world, he has returned to focus on the UK market, bringing his wealth of experience and insight to EWGA Wines.
Our operations team handle all administrative and delivery matters to keep everything running smoothly and on time. Our warehouse operatives pick your orders carefully and efficiently. Our friendly drivers deliver directly to your premises using our delivery vans, saving you time and effort. Together, the admin, delivery, and warehouse teams ensure your orders are processed and delivered accurately, quickly, and with a smile!

Born in Westmorland and having lived and worked across the whole of the North of the UK, John returned to the North West, bringing with him over 40 years of warehousing experience. He has always believe that success come from strong teamwork and shared goals – to ‘achieve together’.

Originally from Essex, Sam finally escaped to the North before settling in Lancaster. He has a decade of experience in wine wholesale and loves seeing our systems grow ever-more efficient. The glass that cemented him as a wine-lover was a Rioja Reserva.
